Make room for this reading habit

A weekly lesson can take several sittings to read carefully. Studying a little at a time lets you revisit its Bible passages before the group meets. Keep a question with the reading when something needs further thought, so it is available when you return.

Look at the passage before deciding how to answer a lesson question. Its surrounding account or argument may change your first impression. You can bring an unfinished question to the discussion and listen to how other people understood the same passage.

How Devotionals helps

  • Weekly Sabbath School lessons alongside daily readings.
  • Bible references for examining the passage in context.
  • Audio for supported readings and languages.
  • Reading notes and other study tools for keeping questions.
